Mom of Steel

What do you do when you have a daughter who keeps asking for popsicles and an abundance of yogurt that's about to expire (overzealous Costco purchace)?

I'll tell you what I did.

I had a major SUPERMOM moment.

There might actually have been a lightbulb dinging above my head when I thought of this.  I just took spoons, popped them through the tops, stuck them in the freezer, fended off the impatient girl who wanted to eat popsicles when they were still softsicles, then BAM....pulled out the coolest, easiest, yummiest yogurt pops our kitchen had ever seen.
Then I flew off into the sunset with my supermom cape flapping in the wind and my theme music playing.

  1. haha, this is so perfect! I love that last shot too. Frame worthy!

  2. my kids love yogurt pops. it was Ana's idea, admittedly.

I tried this today and mind wouldn't come out. How long did you leave yours in the freeze for?

** sorry, "mine" wouldn't come out...

  5. mine were in there overnight before we tried, but they felt solid after several hours. i just ran them under hot water for a minute, and they slid out of the containers. that part took more patience than my daughter could muster though. :)

  6. What a brilliant idea. My boys will love this. Thanks for sharing, Supermom!

  7. Slight modification, super mom. I would cut the yogurt containers in half and BOOM! You have PUSH-UP yogurt pops.
