Bear Cave Studios

When I started teaching art classes to kids, I had this idea that I could keep the table clean and maintain a fresh, clean feeling in the art room.  I believe the word you're looking for here is "guffaw."  There is always a mess, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Just kidding...I'd rather have it magically spotless every day.  But I'll settle for watching the walls fill up with colorful creations.

This summer I did two sessions for preschoolers and three week-long art camps for older kids.  And here is my awkward transition into sharing some shots of a few of the projects we did (and will continue to do when classes start again in September...sign up here...shameless plug over)....
There was some papier mache, lots of paint pouring, and some clay creature creating.
We did embroidery on canvases.
We did a lot of chromatography, my personal favorite.  Endless possibilities.  (I posted about it here, if you want to know more.) Then there was the print-making, stamps, watercolor, etc.

I love this job.
