Party in the BCS

When I decided to start Bear Cave Studios, I had no delusions that I was talented enough to do something like this....or that I was the best art teacher....or the most creative person.  Maybe I am all those things (hah!), but it didn't really seem like the point.

What I really wanted was a real life place to gather together with people like me. I wanted to surround myself with lovely things...lovely people, lovely art, lovely food....lovely. The kids classes have definitely been a success in that area.  I have met fantastic moms and great kids, and it doesn't feel like work most days. Bear Cave is full of those moments in conversation where you find yourself saying, "Me too!" a lot.

It seems like a good time to branch out into the grown-up world....into the realm of craft nights.  (cue dramatic music)  So I got together with Kersey of Ardor, and we are starting CRAFT.  All caps.  It'll be a monthly craft class that is more like a party full of food and things to make and friends to meet. Our first one is tomorrow (Tuesday, October 9), and we are doing Halloween stuff, obv.  For the $15 fee, you will get all the supplies and instruction for three crafts....plus food. Food!

So.

You're in Utah? Yeah, me too. You like to make things? Yeah, me too.  You like to make cool, simple types of things? Yeah, me too.  You like to meet people who are fun and kind and make you feel good and say "Yeah, me too" a lot?

Yeah.

Me too.

Click here to save your spot to come to CRAFT tomorrow night!

  1. If I could answer "me, too" to that Utah question I would be there with bells on. That is awesome!
